Kenneth Gerald Mayer

August 17, 1946 - April 15, 2025

 Kenneth Gerald Mayer, 78, known as "Kenny," passed away on April 15, 2025, at his home in Wamego, Kansas.

 Kenny was born on August 17, 1946, in Westmoreland, Kansas, to parents George and Emma (Kuhn) Mayer. He married Jean Blanka on June 14, 1969, in Louisville, Kansas.

 Kenny was a simple and private man. He enjoyed tinkering on broken tractors and trucks. He worked as a construction foreman for Bayer Construction Co. in Manhattan, Kansas, until his retirement. He loved his time with his family and cats.

 He is survived by his wife, Jean; sons, Josh Mayer (Laura) and Jonathan Mayer (Carolina); and grandsons, Benjamin and Mateo Mayer.
