David R. Shipman

David Raymond Shipman, 61, Manhattan, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, Kansas.

David was the son of David G. and Mary K. (Murphy) Shipman and was born on March 2, 1964 in Leavenworth Kansas.

May 1, 1993 David R. Shipman and Susan M. Reid were united in marriage in Kansas City Kansas. From this union a son was born on March 10, 1995 and named Reid David Shipman.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at St. Isidore's Catholic Student Center, 711 Denison Ave, Manhattan KS 66502. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 2, 2025 at the St. Isidore's Catholic Student Center with Fr. Gale Hammerschmidt, officiating at 11:00 am.

Donations in David's name may be made out to the family for future projects at the Riley County fairgrounds.
