She passed away at home, with her devoted husband by her side, after a brief and courageous time on hospice.
Born on August 15, 1960, in California, Lisa was the cherished daughter of Gloria (Brown) and B.J. Gaither.
From an early age, she carried a warm spirit and a quiet strength that stayed with her throughout her life.
Lisa met the love of her life, Daniel Ried, in 1991. Their bond grew into a beautiful partnership, and they were united in marriage on August 5, 2002. Their years together were filled with love, laughter, loyalty, and the comfort of simply being side by side.
In her younger years, Lisa had a vibrant, fun-loving side and truly enjoyed playing pool, along with the friendships and social life that came with it. As life went on, she embraced a slower, cozier pace. She took pride in making her home a place of warmth and peace, where everyone and every pet felt welcome.
Lisa had a deep and tender love for her animals, especially her cats and dogs, who were her constant companions. On warm days, she could often be found outdoors with them, soaking in the sunshine and enjoying life's simple, quiet moments. She also loved settling in to watch her favorite crime television shows.
Lisa will be remembered for her gentle heart, her caring nature, and her loyalty to those she loved.
Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew her, and her soul now rests in God's eternal care.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gloria and B.J. Gaither.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Ried; her son, Martin Gaither (Angie); her siblings, Kathy Gray (Earl), Deborah Webster (Bruce), Melody Partlow (Joe), Judy Loveday, and Merle Gaither; and her ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service is being planned by the family.
