Safety & Security Manager

The Manhattan Public Library is looking for a Safety & Security Manager to ensure the library is safe, welcoming, and inclusive. Will work directly with the public, deescalate conflicts or disruptive situations, lead a security team, monitor facilities, enforce policies, and provide safety training for staff, all while fostering a positive, community-centered environment. Maintain records and create policies relating to safety and security. Trains and supervises part-time security guards. This role also involves coordinating with local agencies, responding to incidents, and supporting library staff and patrons with professionalism and care.
