Adult Services Manager

Manhattan Public Library is seeking an experienced, inclusive, and collaborative leader to serve as the Adult Services Manager. Primary responsibilities include staff supervision, oversight of Reference Desk services, customer relations, adult readers advisory services, homebound services, and technology training. Our ideal candidate would have a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Library Science from an ALA accredited university, at least 2 year’s experience in a library public services role, and at least 1 year experience in a supervisory role. A combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the job may be considered.
